I am a member of GIMP's development team. I often work on code related to image formats, metadata and testing. I am also the maintainer of GIMP's manual. We improved it's build infrastructure the last few years so that we now have daily online updates of the manual. We are also working on getting and keeping the manual more up-to-date.
