Hi, I'm Sergiu. I like to build things and tinker with stuff: servers, self-hosting, 3D printing, music production, game development and electronics. In my spare time I make open-source software I use myself.
What I work on
- faro: an unofficial Signal client for the terminal, built for tmux and SSH. Keyboard-driven, good-looking, never freezes. Try it in your browser at getfaro.dev.
- earthborne.build: a deckbuilder for the Earthborne Rangers card game. Browse cards, build decks, share them with other players, track your campaigns.
- gcsf: a FUSE file system that mounts your Google Drive as a regular disk on Linux and macOS.
Where the money goes
Sponsorships give me time to maintain these projects, fix bugs and build new features, and help pay for the servers that run earthborne.build and getfaro.dev. They're a way to say thanks, not a support contract. They don't buy priority for issues or features.
